Description

The Evergreen meal program runs daily Monday to Friday and serves about 80-100 youth, at times it is smaller and at times it is larger, rest assured there is always more than enough food to feed our street-involved youth. We require the assistance from volunteers with the preparation of the meal,  the prep work being things such as washing and cutting up vegetables , setting up tables and chairs etc. and then serving the prepared lunch to our youth.

After serving the meal it is expected that volunteers also assist with clean up. The volunteer shift runs from 10:00am - 2:30pm. We have the capacity to take on groups of 4-5 people, so if you had more than 4-5 we could schedule you in to volunteer for more than one day !

This type of opportunity always appeals to corporate groups that want to engage in a meaningful experience, some provide a donation in addition to their service;  this is something for you to also consider please, all donations go towards feeding, clothing and transporting the poor.

We can only take up to a group of 5 people max. All volunteers must be over the age of 19. We request volunteers to stay for the entire duration of the volunteer event to participate in prep, serving and cleanup.
