Tool Librarians run the day-to-day operations of the 3 Toronto Tool Library locations. They help to check-in and check-out loans from the inventory, sign up new members, and work together to welcome members of the public into the spaces.

The Toronto Tool Library is a project of the Institute for a Resource-Based Economy (IRBE), a Canadian non-profit that wishes to challenge our relationship to the Earth's resources. We are focused on projects that highlight the importance of collaborative use of what we have already spent great resources to create, and additionally creates a natural awareness of the urgent need to curb waste production.
